Re: MPH in Info Window

You're probably right. However, "some" other cars have a HUD, lane departure warning system, collision (or pre-collision) warning system, cross traffic alert system, self dimming side view mirrors, ''fully functioning" dual exhausts, turn signal indicators on side mirrors, wireless ce...

Re: Favorite thing about the Kizashi.

Best features, I could list a bunch: Probably seems like I'm listing every option but really just providing the ones I enjoy the most. The fact you can buy a one year old Vivid red SLS AWD with less than 10K (stickered for approx. $30K US) for about half the price as I did. Well, I sure don't want t...

Re: MPH in Info Window

Agreed. I don't believe any Kizashi is set up to show speed digitally in the center dash. Don't know who started the rumor (wish it was true) that it can be done (without major modification) but it's not set up to do so!

Re: J.D. Power Kizashi Overview

I stand corrected: Their "Safest Cars on the Road" choices includes vehicles that score as an IIHS Top Safety Pick plus earned at least an "acceptable" rating in the small-overlap front-crash test, a "good" rating in all other crash tests. In addition, hey had to have a...

Re: J.D. Power Kizashi Overview

Here's info I've gleaned from their latest annual auto issue: The owner satisfaction and reliability ratings come from annual auto surveys. They have 327 acres on their test facility in Connecticut. They buy about 70 cars and trucks that they test each year. Some tests (fuel economy, acceleration, e...

Re: J.D. Power Kizashi Overview

Agree 100 percent! However, I know I'm over critical of CR... but guess my history with the Samurai, Trooper, and Kizashi make me skeptical of some of their recommendations..... and maybe the 'unintended' intentions/consequences of them. :|

Re: J.D. Power Kizashi Overview

One more example of CR bias/errors/mistruths. On page 81 of the current (Apr 15) 2015 Annual Auto Issue they list the VW Tiguan as one of "The Worst of the Worst Used Cars". I think that inclusion might cause real apprehension in the minds of many who would buy a Tiguan used or new. But wa...
