Re: Whenever I go somewhere...

Yeah, I had six Metros, that's what made me a Suzuki fanatic. Had a great trip, saw "Metros" ranging from 70 mpg to 150 HP, there were 47 cars there. Drove like a maniac going out, averaged 63 mph and got 31.3 mpg. Averaged 60 mph coming back, got 33.3 mpg. PA Turnpike hasn't gotten any be...

Re: Whenever I go somewhere...

Oh my, that's lovely. I'm setting out in a couple of hours from DC to Geneva Ohio, on Lake Erie for GeoPalooza (annual get together of Geo Metro whackos). Don't know how much you know about the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but it's not going to be anywhere near as nice as that. http://geometroforum.com/to...

Re: Whinning Noise - CVT?

It sounded like it came from the from under the engine, driver's side. Which is where the transmission is, the opposite end from the belt. Belt drive noise would be constant whenever the engine was running and vary along with RPM, it's not going to show up only under deceleration, that makes no sen...

Re: TSB SI-0007 WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECS

What is the normal wear model here? Is it the rear tires wearing on the inside edge? Here's my situation. Bought the car used, rear tires show wear on the inside edge. If it's the rear that usually does this, then the sensible thing is to rotate them. But, what if the front wore them and they were r...

Re: Whinning Noise - CVT?

Good that you've found a dealership that you trust, that's a rare thing. That explanation doesn't seem plausible from a mechanical standpoint. I'm a mechanic and it sounds like bullcrap.

I doubt it too. That's just the story they told you to make you go away.

Re: Installing Double Din, Brake Bypass Switch & Bluetooth M

He probably (at least I hope so as I want this badly) is talking about a button to fool the car into thinking the e-brake is on when it's not. The point being to defeat those moronic Daytime Running Lamps. Another brilliant idea Suzuki picked up from GM and their band of brain dead engineers (lawyer...

That's usually just rubber bumpers under the hood which need to be adjusted out a little.

Re: 2010 Kizashi Check Engine Light - P0443

The most important word in there is "circuit". That tells me that it's very likely a wiring problem. Every connector in line needs to be unplugged and plugged back up, and you need to check the sensor ground. One of those two wires almost certainly goes to ground, Suzuki's are famous for g...

There's no question about that. Needs to be brought to a swift halt.

I doubt it could be disconnected without throwing error codes.
