Re: Bumper Removal, Headlight Removal, and HID Kit Installat
Hey KuroNekko. Great write up. I've read it many times. I have 44K on my Kiz and assume I'll have to replace a headlamp soon so I think I might take the plunge and use your tuturial to just convert to HIDs. Do they still sell your kit? Still happy with it? Thanks again for all the good work you do o...

Re: broken caliper pin
I reverse searched the Carlson PN found on Rock Auto and came across this eBay auction that has a list of all applications: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Disc-Brake-Caliper-Guide-Pin-Front-CARLSON-14214-/400652116703 It seems like a really common part That's actually exactly what I bought. Got it in the ...

Re: broken caliper pin
Yep, That's it. I actually have it on order already. I was just hoping maybe they were the same as some other car and I could ask the local part store for an alternate car's caliper pin and get my car back together today. Thanks!

broken caliper pin
Does anyone know if the Kiz shares a caliper pin with another model? I was replacing my brakes yesterday and broke the lower front caliper pin bolt. None of the parts dealers around have it including 3 dealerships that still service Suzuki. It seems like every other caliper pin I've ever seen. I rea...

Re: What tires are best?
I for one really liked the stock Dunlops for handling but not for life. I rotated every 5K and eeked out 30K on them which seems to be pretty good. I decided on these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=G-MAX+AS-03&partnum=345WR8GMAS03XL&vehicleSearch=true&...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/321434935682?item=321434935682&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OC:US:3160&vxp=mtr That's a good deal. For some reason the first year I had my kizashi I lost 3 of 4 center caps and had to replace them at I think $13 ea. from the dealer. They actually gave me the 3rd o...

Re: wheel paint flaking
I recently repainted all wheels to as close as possible to stock silver using duplicolor hyper silver wheel paint kits. I should have taken before and after pics but forgot until too late. I can take an after pics if anyone would like. I'd like to see those after pics. I'm thinking about repainting...

Re: LED headlamp strips
I think a resistor is a good idea, but I really think the quality of the LEDs is the main factor here. LEDs are not all equal. Having had experience with cheaper LEDs from ebay that flicker and junk out in a few weeks/months vs. high quality ones that last for years, I can tell you that you get wha...

wheel paint flaking
Hi Guys, I know some of you have had success getting Suzuki to repaint/replace your wheels for flaking paint. My question is first is this what your wheels looked like or is this just a side effect of everyday driving after 41K. That brings up the next question of it's a 2012 bought June 2012 with 4...

Re: LED headlamp strips
A lot of those LED strips are designed to run on 12V. The problem is when you hook them up in a car the LED's are subjected to over 14V when the engine is running. (I've had similar problems at home with a solar system running 5050 LED strips. They're fine when the batteries aren't on charge, but q...
