Re: Anybody in the MN or WI area??
Nice! I moved from the midwest a few years back, but these are still as rare as hen's teeth, especially in any decent condition now that they're past 10yrs old. Even ours is looking rough after being outside in the southeast weather now for a couple of years. Yeah i know how you feel, just ab...

Re: The Kizashi Spotting Thread!
I spotted my first Kizashi in the Bay Area yesterday at Costco. It was one of the myriad of cars filling up gas and suddenly I was like, that's a nice front--wait that's a Kizashi! It had the SLS sport wheels and front bumper and all the trim. It had paint peeling on the roof as well as some folded...

Re: Paint peeling off of the roof near windshield, small area to start
It sounds like the clear is starting to peel off of the roof. I guess you can be glad at least that you don’t have the white paint which is clearly the worst of the Kizashi colors as far as holding up. They are peeling paint right off the roof, and taking the primer with it. The next worst color is...

Re: DRL/High Beam LED Conversion Kit (Part II)
Thank you for the summary of the current state of things! You saved me at least 2 hours in research on the topic. :D 8-) Greatly appreciated as always. 8-) Sounds like we are getting very close to off the shelf products that will be FMVSS compliant and last. :) And maybe they'll even address the PWM...

Re: DRL/High Beam LED Conversion Kit (Part II)
Great update as always! I've been following your project since the beginning and it's good to hear that the base components of the kit seem to be still going strong. A few years ago manufacturers were starting to make LED plug-in replacement bulbs, but they were too large for the Kizashi's housing i...

Re: What tires are best?
Yes. Petrol/Gasoline mileage is around 10 Km/Litre. The CNG mileage is 22 Km/Kg. I drive with a light foot so that helps alot. It you keep servicing the car every 10k KM, nothing will happen. Longevity will be the same as petrol. Interesting. So strange that this isn't done in the rest of the world...
