That Chinese character at the top of the thread is the character for Kizashi.
In Japanese, it would be written as 兆し
It means omen, or sign of things to come. The character is also the character used for billion.
I kind of want a decal of this character. Anyone seen one online?

Re: Keeps catching my eye
I do like the CX-5. My previous car was a Mazda3 so I have checked out the CX-5 at the dealership. As you can see from my signature, I prefer owning smaller Japanese brands. It gets great mileage thanks to the SkyActiv-G engine, but the 35mpg claim is only for manual 2WD, which is only offered with ...

Re: Why we need the Swift Sport in the US
I agree.
Here's Suzuki's future in the US:
The public's interest/recognition in the brand regained with the Swift and Swift Sport
OR
A swift exodus from the US.
I prefer the Swift that I can drive.

Re: What Suzuki Content Do YOU Want?
Suzuki really needs to step up with marketing and letting people know about their products. It's like their attitude is, "we don't really care" as of now. Even their aggressive financing deals don't seem to help sales because people don't know or care about the product. Who cares what the ...

Re: Keeps catching my eye
The current appears to be 3yrs/36K miles and the powertrain is 7yr/100K miles, fully transferable. I bought mine used, but it only has 7500 miles on it and is only 1 year old. I saved thousands buying it used, yet I get warranty coverage. Win. As the videos show, the Suzuki AWD system appears to be ...

Re: sport suspension components
In the research I've done before I bought my '11 GTS, I read that the sport suspension lowered the suspension by 10mm. I doesn't sound like much, but it makes a difference. I think lowering it further would compromise ride comfort.

Re: AutoZone Intake
There are good and bad sides to have a CAI (Cold Air Intake) or SRI (Short Ram Intake). The positives are that in theory, the cold air intake draws colder air from lower parts of the engine bay, therefore providing the engine with colder, more oxygen-dense air for more power. The Short Ram Intake wo...

Re: Keeps catching my eye
I've come from owning two Subarus in the past. I had a 1995 Impreza that I drove 100,000 miles and also had a 2002 Legacy Wagon which my brother now drives. Both were great and were exceptional in the snow. I too, like murcod, drive a manual Kizashi that I just purchased so I can't comment on the AW...

Re: Another year & I'm gone..
The WRX STI is nice, but you are going to have problems as Moto said. Ironically, the first gen of WRXs in the states were the most reliable. As they started to use the 2.5 liter, things got less and less reliable. It's also going to get crappy mileage all while guzzling premium. I'm a big Subaru fa...

Re: LED tail lights
The brake lights looks dim because of the angle of the camera shot. Had I been seated in a car behind the mazda, then the brake lights would appear bright and the center light, not so much. The center light is actually angled a little up. As for the LED bulbs, I've read that it's because the LED use...
