Re: Exhaust sounds
Just put on an RRM catback which had already been modified by AFREaKA.Man by adding a 20" glasspack right exactly where the new straight pipe is in Armykizyguy's picture above. I like it a lot, but I suspect that I wouldn't have without the glasspack. It sounds fantastic when you start it, like...

Re: Key Fob Not Detected message when door opened while runn
Your new USB adapter probably uses a switching power supply to cut the voltage from 12V down to 5V. This type of power regulating device actually switches the power on and off VERY rapidly so that it's only passing power about 40% of the time, thereby cutting 12V down to 5V. Very cheap and efficient...

Re: Optional tire size?
I don't know, but I've got the exact same desire, want a little more diameter if there's enough room in the wheelwells.

Re: K&N Universal Intake
I doubt if either one is going to make a difference you could actually feel, mikeromeoooo. Although your brain is going to convince you that there's a difference. (I spent all of that money, of course it's faster) Plus, any increase from an air filter or intake is only going to be at full throttle o...

Re: K&N Universal Intake
I've run them hundreds of thousands of miles with no problems whatsoever. My first Metro went 208K miles, engine was rebuilt at 160K but the three cylinder always burns the valves at about that much, had nothing to do with the filter. My last Metro is still going strong at 200K miles, Aerio is still...

Re: Really poor gas mileage
Just went 466.1 miles on 16.45 G of regular (87 octane) non-ethanol gas. Woah! 16.5? You're a lot gutsier than I am, I would have been holding my breath for the last 30 miles, and therefore wouldn't be posting. That's 28.33 mpg (the HUD says average fuel economy is 30.1mpg). That's exactly ho...

Any good things you're hearing are advertising hype. Iridium and Platinum last longer, other than that, a plug is a plug.

Re: Rrm turbo ?
But can you imagine a street Kizzy with 500whp that's just insane. That's super muscle car territory. With the right set up like that you can dust gt500s and vetts This is what I was responding to. Sure sounds like a boy racer you're describing there. 500 HP is going to cost you at least $20,000, a...

Re: Rrm turbo ?
It's interesting to know that the block and tranny can hold 520whp plus nos that's ridiculous yet rrm try's to make it sound like shit will fall apart above 300. Building a car for Bonneville with a professional driver, and building a car to sell to boy racers for street racing are two completely d...
