Re: Vibration through the floor of the car

As I said before, good luck, and please keep us informed of any progress!
My Kizashi is a 2010 XLS FWD so the problem does not seem to be anything to do with AWD (just incase they try that line!).

Re: Vibration through the floor of the car

Good luck! I have exactly the same complaint and got the same responce from the dealer, so I took it to Suzuki Australia and they said the same thing. When I asked how they could advertise the car as being a smooth luxury vehicle and suffer from this vibration they weren't interested, one reason I w...

Re: install head unit

Another issue with a Scosche product you should be aware of, if you plan to install a head unit that has connections for the steering wheel controls, is that the Scoshe S106B adapter plug/cable is not fully populated ie. there are no pins in the plug for the steering wheel control cable. It lo...

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

Hmmm...again, I have to wonder "why?"...why not just do it the "right way". My guess is that as the nav install is not done by Suzuki at the factory (as far as I am aware), the installer looked for the easiest way. This turned out to be the readymade Scoshe 106b harness and the ...

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

Are the wires not going through the box your new ones? I'm wondering in order to see if my next question makes any sense. It seems the wires going through the box would be left & right front and left & right rear - no sub. Would you say that's correct? I've been wondering if there is a dedi...

Re: My brand new Kizashi damaged by Service Department.

First step demand to speak to the Dealer Principle (the guy who owns the business), best done face to face. You may have a hard job proving that it was done at the dealership but it wont hurt to try. Good luck!!

Re: Disabling the safety feature on the Kenwood nav/dvd unit

With most units all you have to do is ground the wire (it's usually activated from the handbrake switch going to ground when you pull on the handbrake), however you would have to check with kenwood (or the kenwood manual ) to be sure.

Re: TSB on SLS audio system

So they are actually using the speaker outs on the head unit then converting back to line-outs rather than just use the line-outs??? That's crazy... So does the non-navi unit use line-outs? Or do they convert too? Why would they use an amp looking for line-out inputs then use speaker outs and conve...

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

I got my Scosche 106b wiring harness for the Kizashi with Rockford Fosgate system and pulled apart the "black box" to see what was inside. With just a few resistors for each speaker channel it looks like a pretty standard passive LOC (confirming I think Naviguy's theory) http://i235.photob...
