Re: kizashi mpg

Based on my personal tests and calculations, I ran my first tank in AWD and got about 22.5 MPG, the second tank in FWD got about 22.8 MPG - both a mix of Highway and City, using 87 Octane. the on board MPG calculator was fairly close to these both times.

Re: Anyone Installed the XM Module themselves?

Yea, doesn't seem like something that's just gonna get hooked up in the trunk. That's unfortunate. Make sure you do a walkthrough when you disassemble your dash :D . Seriously though, looks like that could be some serious work. I agree. I removed the gray molded panels in the trunk looking for pre-...

Re: Anyone Installed the XM Module themselves?

here's the image of the XM kit off of SuzukiAuto.com. The plugs on the larger black cable look like it might just plug into the back of the RF system, and the amount of the cable looks like it might be about 6' to 10' long, so it seems to me (best guess) that the car is not pre-wired for XM, just th...

Re: Anyone Installed the XM Module themselves?

That's my next step, but I agree... they probably won't offer up free advice for a $700 installation job Yea, especially because it'll probably take about a half hour for them. Guess you might have to wait for a service manual to become available, then you can be the first! ;) That was going to be ...

Anyone Installed the XM Module themselves?

I have an old XM Module from my previous car and I'd like to try and modify it to work with the XM in the Rockford Fosgate. The Suzuki site shows the module, antenna and a wiring bundle. From the looks of it, the wiring may have to be run to the back of the RF stereo. I have the pin listings for my ...
