Re: 2012 Kizashi Cruise Control speed toggle switch problem

This switch failure is certainly not common and separate from the air bag which should leave many steering wheels at the salvage yards and u pull it yards . Try car-part .com . Or, I have 3 spare wheels, If one is a match I'll sell for $30+shipping from n/w pa.

Re: 2012 Kizashi Cruise Control speed toggle switch problem

You have confirmed there are no trouble codes stored on engine or transmission modules ? If there is a code it will disable cruise .

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Because of the very high price for this cover even used, I think removing and heating with heat gun to get it into proper shape and then symmetrically stitching the tear with wire ties . Giving it the frankenstein look .

Re: Another Transmission Failure ?

A little more info would be helpful for a correct diagnoses. Is the check engine light on? What codes do you have on the engine and transmission? Is the vehicle an AWD? If it is an AWD, there is a chance that the problem you describe could be caused by the transfer case. The transfer case has two se...

Re: Part Number needed

The car your working with no doubt is or was a high moisture, high salt area car. This is a daily struggle in my area . I ran into this just last month on a native Kizashi and both sides were froze. Heat nut if you have to and loosen a turn. smack the nut end of the bolt with hammer or air hammer. n...

Re: Valve Ticking, and getting worse daily

Did you find and fix the noise maker ? If you need a part to repair it, I have it I'm sure. You still have the the most valuable part of this engine and that is a straight (hasnt been overheated) cyl head .

Avoid engine failure cheaply

Recently, I have seen 4 Kizashi's go down with engine failure and one of these had already had an engine change . The problem on all of these was overheating due to a simple drive belt coming apart. These cars range in miles between 115k to 172k . The battery light comes on and yet goes unnoticed du...

Re: Does the 2013 SX model fits 16in winter tires?

15" wont clear front Kizashi calipers. Toyota uses the same bolt pattern and hub center on many of there models so there is no shortage of properly fitting 16".
