I just talked to my dealership about the replacement SubWoofer and he confirmed the recall on the dash part. No details yet as he stated this is the first time he's seen news on it.

I'm considering replacing the factory sub with a better aftermarket sub anyway. The global back order issue definately shows this is a problem with the speaker itself. I asked the service rep if there's an issue with the speaker, won't we continue to have this problem with a replacement sub as well?...

Same issue here! taking it into the dealership tomorrow for this rattle and the sudden increase in volume issue. Did you manage to have it fixed? What was the verdict for the rattle? I'm heading to the dealership tomorrow with mine and I was curious if it's the same cause for all these reported rat...
