Re: inexpensive tire pressure monitors that will work

Generally, when there's stuff like this being sold 'direct from china' they're either fakes or basically stolen goods (extra runs made on the manufacturer's line without manufacturer's consent or knowledge). That's why any company manufacturing in china has to stay on top of them like hawks else the...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story

All of this is super strange. Do you have the factory service manual? Why did you change your TPMS sensors? I've catched a spike in one tyre and as tyres were quite old I devices not to repair them but to exchange the whole set. Also tpms sensors expected life is 5-7 years. Thus in order not to hav...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story

I chased the same thing for a month, turned out to be something stupid. If the sensors that your dealer put on were Continental/VDO SE10001HP, that sensor has a high pressure mode for use on trucks. If they pumped up one of the tires to 50 psi (would not be ridiculous, they often need to put in a l...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story

Hi! I have problems with TPMS sensors. I've read a lot and still feel confused. My small questions. Perhaps someone knows the answer or would have at least some suggestions: 1. Is that possible that one tmps sensor can be activated in more than one modes? In particular I'm interested in Suzuki oem ...

Re: Install OEM Accessories into Kizashi Base (DLX)

Nice! Not near our Kizashi atm, but I think it has a big plastic shell that goes over the wiring. If you have that part then it would probably look factory. :) Yes I planned to buy it from Megazip but the price is too high unfortunately maybe eBay Definitely check the used market. I bet the former ...

Re: Anybody in the MN or WI area??

Nice! I moved from the midwest a few years back, but these are still as rare as hen's teeth, especially in any decent condition now that they're past 10yrs old. Even ours is looking rough after being outside in the southeast weather now for a couple of years. you got pics? would love to see y...
