6sp gear change noise

Speaking to my mate yesteday, he has a n/a supra that makes almost the exact same noise with the same affects. Same story, always done it. He saw a mechanic about it and they couldnt find anything. Is it possible its just one of those things? Ill try again tonight to post a sound clip/video. Just a follow up from earlier aswell checked over my exhaust yesterday and i coudlnt see any external carbon built ups or anything else to suggest a leak. Im pretty sure thats ruled out.
