IF you do, please, report back with the lab results and how things are being handled.

Time to join this thread, I guess... :-(

I heard the noise for the first time today (80k kms), after driving in manual for about 5 minutes, a bit more lively. Switched to auto and it seemed to go away, I hesitantly tried to rev it up again after a bit, but it seemed OK.

I went through the comments on this thread (and watched the youtube videos) and it looks like I'm definitely in this exclusive club. I'll keep monitoring it and post updates, too, if anything interesting develops.

Went to the dealer today and drive the car with the tech. Heard the noise and said definitely not normal although they just can't figure it out. When I picked up my car, the advisor mentioned that they did not have a new transmission In stock. I will report back but I think they may replace it.

Who didn't have the trans in stock, the service center or the regional Suzuki parts warehouse?

Not sure but the new tranny was ordered today. It also helps that my friend is the service director.

A huge chunk of that 'part cost' is dealer mark-up. Anywhere from 25-45% of what Suzuki charges them for it.
