I am picking up my New Kizashi to day. I was looking on Tirerrack.com for 16'' steel wheels and snow and ice tires for the winter. They say there isn't any 16" wheel for our car. I know the lower model has 16" steel wheels.

Anyone tried the same thing?

I test fitted my wife's snow tires OEM SX4 16 inch aluminum wheels and it fits perfectly. You should be able to order by size vs. by vehicle. 5x114.3 with 60.1 hub (or use hub centric rings with ID of 60.1). I believe the tire size would be 215/60-16. If it does not allow, use SX4 as the vehicle and just upsize the tires. I just tried and it is possble.

I drive the "S" model and it comes standard with 16 inchers. If you are on TireRack and you put a different model than the "S" it may not show the 16 inch option.

Great news thanks.

KizzyOHIO did you shave all the badges on your car? That is cool, when I was in Europe 3 years ago it drove me crazy. Being a car guy I wanted to know what people were driving. Over there nobody has badges on their car. Must be an showoff thing because in France and Germany no badges. In Italy there were many badges on everything.

Yeah, right after I got the car I debadged it front to back. Makes it a lot easier to wash!! There are a few pics on this board of it. As soon as I get some new shoes for the Kizzy I'll post some pics.

I went to Costco and got 4 new Bridgestone Blizzak WS70s installed and balanced on 16" steel wheels. Wheels were # 42655 , Costco # 179486 Tires were 215-60-16 , Costco # 239716 (The product #'s are from Costco Canada, not sure if they match in the US.)
BUT, I have to say the car is amazing in the snow if you have the AWD version. I'm super impressed so far.
