Engine light on after muffler delete

today i performed a muffler delete and it sounds awesome. After few hours the engine service light came on when i started the car. any suggestions what the issues could be or if i reset the battery to get rid of the light should be okay.

Get it read for free at Autozone or some auto parts store. My guess is that it's related to the exhaust system's pressure given you cut the pipes. You can disconnect the battery to clear the code, but the car will take time to relearn all the trims and complete its tests of various systems. In this regard, the Service Engine light can come back on shortly after if the issue is still present.

I deleted mine (the rear 2 only)and didnt have any trouble, sounds good. 2010 sls awd . Did you do somthing different ? Do you know the trouble code ?
