Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

We're just talking vehicle capability; most all drivers are in way over their heads

Turned off the VSC and slid all over dirt roads yesterday.

Glorious......

Last tank blended Gulf premium mostly Mobil regular 26.6MPG.
Not bad considering how I drive.

Speaking of which, I was passing on a dirt road in a construction zone and there was this HORRENDOUS drop-off in excess of one foot elevation.
Naturally, right when I was on full hammer.
Got some big air. Big.
But the crash down, while the Kizashi was level, was severe. Very severe. I could hear the cat flex (first time ever in any off the three).
I laughed.
Kept the hammer down.

Met a young man inheriting his mom's Kizashi.
It was fun listening to him wax poetic on the Kizashi's attributes.

I agreed

Gas mileage still improving; cold air still blowing; brakes still smoldering; pedal still mashed.

I've noticed an increase in CVT whine.
Maybe a fluid change will make it all better, or at least I'll feel better.

Yeah, mine was really whining after yesterday's romp on the way home. I could actually hear it over the stereo (volume not too high) as I was throwing it around hard in the left-right-left-right up-down hilly curves. Must have been frothing the fluid up far too much. Didn't like that in the 93deg heat at all. I'd better back off until the temps cool back down and/or I overcome my fear of swapping out all of the fluid in the thing.

If/when you get the fluid change done, please, ask for details on exactly what they do when changing out the fluid. I'm very curious about the details and sequence of the methods since you've had them do one of your previous K's with no apparent negative side-affects. Thanks!

Since your latest is a 2013, I'd check to see if the recent recall applies. (Build date after July 19, 2012. Check the placard on the B-pillar) Some resistors in the TCM (CVT controller) can fail resulting in Max transmission pressure all of the time. I posted the bulletin here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4609
