Still tire lazy (personal justification: "Well, when they get hot the pressure rises").

Got 86,000 miles on mine, got the falken 950 all seasons few days ago, brought the car back to life. Cheapo fuzions for last 50k could barely grip dry but we're decent in the snow(prob more Suzuki awd)

Finally replacing factory air/cabin filters and sanding out headlights.

Let last oil change go for about 9k miles, oil level barely on the dipstick
I hope it's not a big deal, I checked after 1500 miles and oil levels fine.

Half-time report:

Found some smooth (a relative term here in Vermont) roads and rediscovered once again my love for my Kizashi, dancing and juking along the sinuous pavement, getting light under the wheels on undulations and rapid elevation changes, collapsing the suspension fully flinging into downhill corners, biting hard under both braking and steering inputs as we charged very fast indeed for miles and miles......(it was past 1AM).

Admittedly, this one now makes suspension noise on non-smooth surfaces, no doubt caused by my extreme driving style  , since I've REALLY pounded the snot out of this one.

I like it.

Drove a new 2017 VW Sportwagen DSG 4Motion yesterday; asked the salesman if he knew of any "fast curvy roads" for me to zoom down; he did. We did.
Nice car. Very solid feeling, weighty steering, great brake feel and modulation, and what a pleasure to have a gearbox banging ratios (paddle shifters standard if it matters).
Excellent handling behavior, although the vehicle would benefit radically with less sidewall and more tread.
PLENTY OF MOTOR, but I note that under-$600 ECU flash that bumps things up to 240+HP and near 300lb/ft of torque, AND removes the left-foot-braking inhibition.
Enough for a 3200lb car.....

Not as quiet as the Kizashi, AND it's got a key (the biggest potential deal-breaker, that key. I love my touch doors and pushbutton start).
Key vs Kizashi.......hmmmm.......

Consider the possible reliability issues as well....

Two years old:

Its the Sport's b-day today. 89,167 miles in the 725 days I've owned it.
Added to the 164,370 I put on the last one, I think it's fair to say I have significant Kizashi experience.

Since 12/23/10.........average miles per day = 105.5. Average MPD in this one = 122.99

Can't buy a car with a key..........
