Hi. Anyone that has custom wheels know of any good deals on the Kizashi? I'm trying to get a wheel and tire package but there's not a lot of stuff on the kizashi out there. Thanks.

Go to tirerack.com you can put in your make & model and look through all the wheels & tires they have. If you buy the wheels & tires together you can call them and negotiate free shipping and maybe even a discount, plus you don't pay tax. I bought my last tires through them and got some very nice tires while saving a bundle.

Personally, I would just keep the tires on that came with the Kiz, if you got the model that comes with the 18s. I have came very close to buying some new wheels and then keeping the originals in storage to put back on when I get ready to buy a new car.

I think I saw them on RRM's site, can't find them now. I think they were like 200-250/wheel. Maybe they took them down though, I'm not sure.

While we're talking about wheels / tires, from those of you that have the 18" Dunlops, how would you rate them? I'm thinking that I might change them out to some Michelin's or something but maybe its not necessary. How is handling / road noise?

There is no road noise from the 18" Dunlops. Handing is great too.

Stock wheels are very heavy. I saved 7# per corner, it makes a big difference in braking and ride quality. 7# per corner saving is huge, and that is not with some super expensive forged alloys. 18x8 too.

I bugged Tirerack to get some wheels listed for the car.

Dunlops are very good for all season tires. Very little road noise and good ride for an 18" low profile tire. It is an all season tire though. A summer tire is definitely going to improve handling, but whether or not it is worth it depends on where you live and how you drive. Most drivers will never push the Dunlops to their full potential.
