Yes, regular oil is fine for up to 7,500 miles per Suzuki. I would only use it for 5,000 mile oil changes though. 3,000 mile change intervals should only be used for extreme conditions.dr3z wrote: Is regular oil fine? (Im pretty good about 5000km oil changes (~3000mi))?

Go synthetic if you want to go more than 5,000 miles between oil changes. Be sure to ask what filter they use if you choose synthetic.
I've been doing 7,500 mile oil changes with synthetic oil and a purolater pure one for the last 100,000 miles. I drive over 25,000 miles per year and I'm getting lazy to do so often. Now I'm using Mobil 1 extended performance for 15,000 miles with a filter change at the halfway mark.
