Check Engine Light comes on for first time ever!

At 132,000 miles, my CEL came on for the first time ever! Can't ignore it, display turns Orange and blinks incessantly! I commute at night so this is very distracting. Also it disables cruise control, which I use fairly regularly on my 45 min highway commute. O2 sensor code. I reset the light and it came right back. I figure at this mileage I'll just replace both of them as it couldn't hurt. Hopefully that's all it is and no further damage is occurring like a Cat going out or something. Getting the NTK brand...found them on Rock Auto way cheaper than anywhere else. Threw in a set of Power Stop Z23 rear pads while I was at it...they're due to be replaced soon.

Still the most reliable, low maintenance car I've ever owned. :D

Did you order the sensor online or did you buy it offline? How much did you get it for?

I double checked my error code, it was actually P2237. At any rate, I purchased the new O2 sensors on RockAuto.com. At the time I purchased them they were listed at $98.79 for the downstream sensor (NTK 24815) and $146.79 for the upstream one (NTK 24801). The upstream sensor was listed considerably more everywhere else I could find it like $206 at Amazon, $356 at Oreilys and $425 at Autozone just to name a few.

O2 sensors arrived from two different warehouses. Completed the job yesterday. Easy Peasy. Trouble codes gone!
