Hello, I am new in this forum, from czech republic, sorry for my bad language.. I have finally bought kizashi 2010 cvt automat, 200 000 kilometers on the speedometer, everything is fine and smooth, love this car. I bought it, change oil and now, after 12000 kilometers i look on the oil and the motor take about 1,5 liter of oil. My question is, if in this 2010 year kizashi is normal, that motor take about 1,5 l oil after 12 000 kilometers. I think, that my ride is normal, no need for speed on the road, normal speed.. I check with mechanics every single piece under the hood and car, and no drops of oil anywere, motor is clean and dry. Thanks everyone for comment, I love this car and if it will be the engine broken, take too much oil and need expensive repair, I dont now, what to do..

I think it is not normal . Take the spark plugs out and check them also I suggest doing a dry and wet compression test to check valve seal and piston rings and do the oil change every 8000km it might help with correct oil of course.

i suggest oil changes every 4000 miles(6400 kilometers) for conventional 10w30 or 10000 kilometers with 10w30 synthetic. The majority of these Kizashi's now have 100,000 miles or better with enough bearing clearance for the slightly thicker oil to not be a concern. If the engine does use oil, the engine would tend to use less with the thicker oil.

Which grade of oil are you using? The recommended oil is 5W-30. I have similar miles on my 2011 Kizashi (185,000km) and it burns less than 0.5 liters between oil changes, which are about 12,000km intervals. I only use full synthetic oil. I think your engine is burning more oil than normal so I think using thicker oil like 10W-30, as Old Tech suggested, might help especially in warmer seasons. I would also change the oil more often given the condition of the engine.

Hello, thanks for commemt. We use 5W-30 from manual. Okay, next change it will be the 10W-30 and check the other things from SAEED_KIZZY 🤟🙏
