After I bought my Kiz (SLS AWD) about a month ago, I read nearly every post on this site. Admittedly, I am prone to buyers regret -- even though I have thoroughly enjoyed my car (traded a 2005 Saab 9-3 with 90k, very attached to that car, but such a pain to maintain). Anyway, WESHOOT's posts have inspired and dampened my buyer's remorse. (Suzuki marketing should be issuing you checks for your posts). If my car holds up like his, I will be amazed. Keep'em coming.

41,644 trouble-free miles.

40K service was $41.04.
Last tank returned 27.6mpg; tank before that got 26.6; tank before that got 27.5.
Not bad considering how it gets driven.

Need to get some summer tires.

Paint still attached (except underneath, as mud season vs ground clearance favors the mud....by far).

Current mileage = 44,108.

MPG is ranging from a low of 26.9 up to 30.1, with 'normal' returns around the 27--28MPG range.
This includes the manical juvenile driving style I regularly employ.

I installed a set of new General Altimax HP V-rated tires and they're so far excellent, even allowing progressive sliding on dirt and gravel roads.
Great dry grip.
Quiet.
Smooth......

So basically, I'm putting gas in the car (Mobil Premium) and hammering the snot outta it.

Paint still attached.
Yeah.

.
45,305 miles of lovin' it.

Played with a white S AWD on the way in to work today; pulled up next to him, and accelerated up to 110MPH.

Then we found a place to move together between 70--85.

Last tank = 26.9MPG; tank before 24.9MPG.
Gotta maintain more decorum, methinks.

Ain't checked the paint recently.....

82 days - 5,256 miles.

I guess I've been lazy :(

Well actually I've been using my bicycle a lot lately, and there's nothing lazy about that! Anyway, I'm loving my kiza more than ever. ;)

46,065 miles.

Had an oil change done at the dealer for $39; I'm doing them at 5K intervals. Mileage continues to vary based on 'style'. Last tank 27.9MPG.
I actually got to watch the roll-over at 46K. Cool....

Zero issues.

Trip to Chicago looming, late June (40th HS reunion). I'll do extensive data-gathering for highway/trip mileage (finally).
Brakes will be inspected before launch, just a precautionary check. I hope.

Paint still attached.

Nothing to report except its awesomeness.

540 days, 49,587 miles. Gonna pass both 50K and its year-and-a-half marks in the next few days; Dec 23, 2010.

Headed west for that long trip so I'm changing the oil before launch.
The rest I'm leavin' alone.....

Been expanding my experience with the car's balance and progressive nature as all four tires slide through the corners, both paved and un-paved (note to fellow nuts: disabling the VSC and shifting manually allows lurid power-on slides on marbly dirt).
I assume the tires I chose help. I'm moving up the "+" ladder, the one where you add 'X'MPH to that yellow warning sign's posted safe speed; I'm at "+20".
Car tracks true in excess of 110MPH, which is comforting. No issues at speed.
I've found feel in the steering, but it took a while. Zero issues with the cabin.

Or the paint.....
