Hi Everybody
I have Base Kizashi CVT automatic 2012 and I live in Tehran. Here we have some limited import of Kizashi around 250 in my country(Iran). My dealer just import and sell this car and there is no support for new options like cruise control and this bothers me so much why I can't have cruise control in my car so I decided to do it my self.
After reading Kizashi service manual I noticed that all the functionality needed for Cruise control is done by ECM module and there is no need for aftermarket module.Cruse control only need 4 Buttons to do the task.
So I open wheel airbag and bring 2 wires from steering wheel control connector and build 4 push button board to use as a steering wheel cruise control.
And that is I have activated cruise control for my kizashi and test it on the road with no problem at all.
and finally some pictures about it.

Interesting discovery and even more interesting cruise control solution. You didn't want to try find a foreign-version steering wheel with the cruise control buttons built-in?

Get a steering wheel from another Kizashi. Get a steering wheel with the cruise buttons and it will work. It did for me.

If I find one I will do that.I bought Suzuki vitara cruise control switch and do some modification on switch pcb to work with kizashi wiring protocol and it worked.

Yesterday looking thru the web found a 14' Kizashi Limited CVT W/PaddleShifters steering wheel for about $120, the donor was only 10000 miles. So i took the chance and make my call. I have the Base Kizashi so i wonder if it will fit right in. Fortunately was a plug and play installation.
Cruise Control works like a charm, i left untouch the paddles, off course they don't do nothing at all but it's fun to play with like an F1 driver driver :drive:
The change of the touch rubber vs leather is waaaaaay better, its a nice and cheap upgrade.
