Today I changed my cabin air fliter. It was very very easy. I just removed the upper shelf by squeezing to the right the shelf and it comes right out then removing the cabin filter door and removing the old filter and replacing with a new one, putting the filter door back on and snapping the upper shelf back on which was alittle tricky but the whole job took every bit of 15 minutes. I think the next time it will take maybe 5 minutes now that I know what to do. :D

I have yet to do it, but it's a relief to know it's easy. It was a very very difficult task for my previous Mazda3 as the filter was located literally behind the lower center of the dash. You had to not only remove the glove box, but then squeeze yourself into the passenger foot area and then cramp your hands into a little space to get to the air filters which were 2 pieces that stacked on top of each other, but you could only load one at a time. Yeah, it was a horrible design.

Where did you buy your replacement filter?
