Opinion on LED idea
I came across this pic of one of the Kizashi concept cars and think I like the LED's. I won't be using blue ones. Just wanted to see what your opinions are.

Is this from the Suzuki Kizashi EcoCharge concept?
The headlight is not different from the stock except for some additions.
The lens is smoked. It's also got HID low beams and HID fogs. The position light bulb is a blue-green LED and then there is a single LED bar within the headlight and the addition of two LED strips in the air dam by the fog light.
There have been members here who have done some variants of these mods. There was someone here who installed LED DRLs in the air dam.
I have HID lows, fogs, and LED position bulbs.
The only one that would be difficult in my opinion are the LEDs inside the headlight.
The blue is not my style either. It's actually illegal to use blue lights in the US as the color is reserved for police use. Interestingly, in Japan, blue is often used for DRLs and many commercial vehicles have aftermarket blue LED DRLs.

I myself like the look of the led strip in the headlight, but after toying around? I decided to put them on the outside and I think they look fine. 2 reasons. 1? I did not want to break seal in headlight and risk condensation and fogging issues? And 2? I didn't want to go through the hassle of pulling the bumper and headlight apart in case a led light went out. This way is much simpler and still looks great.

Chris, did you install another light bar, that one looks different than the one in your other thread. On this one I noticed the lights were sectioned into 3's. Where did you get the one you posted above?

Yes, I removed the ones you are talking about, felt they were too far spaced apart and too blue. The new ones are much brighter and white. You can get them at ijdmtoy under led strips. Audi a5 r8 I believe. You will find them. 2 20 inch strips with 48 LEDs in each 16.99 can't beat it. They look great

How difficult was putting the LED in the Fog light?
The photo is from a Suzuki concept car so it's not a member car.Dthrill_08 wrote:How difficult was putting the LED in the Fog light?
That being said, to put the LEDs there is not hard. That part is easily accessible once you remove the bumper. In fact, as the photo shows, the air dam on the left side of the fog light has slits in it. That's because the horns are behind there on both sides but the horns are mounted to the frame, not the bumper. To install LEDs similar to the concept car, you need to drill/cut and mount the LEDs there next to the fog light.
