I wonder if the CVT performance is computer controlled and could be modified. I have found the same performance the tester mentioned in mine (so apparently did NJkizashi) - would be GREAT it it could be tweaked in existing cars.

hmmm no problem here with take offs at least it dont bother me not a peeler ..i guess people got there own needs i also drive a v8 325 h/p truck and the power difference is of no consequence to me i prefer the cvt actually i have fun with it..no enthusiast here..get to work safely is my motto...no need for speed i drive slow [not exactly] dont need turbo......lol.........be easy on the pedal and everyone will be fine thats cause once it gets going its going thats my take.....and yes it can be tweaked but may mess with warranty i refuse to get it done it was offered to me im happy the way it is..h/p is a want not a need

Suzuki saw an opportunity to fill the gap vacated by the Subaru Legacy, Mazda 6, and even the Accord from a few gens back. They used to be smaller sporty sedans but turned into larger more bloated vehicles. The Kizashi filled in right behind and is as good or better than those cars were. Now, if only for a turbo version.
