well, I guess it's either sell the car now before everyone knows about it or keep it until it hits the dirt.

A Suzuki dealer in Charleston South Carolina told me that they have a contract with Suzuki to supply warranty service and parts for 10 years and like Murcud said by then we will have shed our Kizashi's.

Honestly... I was. I got a USED 2011 Kizashi SE with 120 miles on it for 17K with 7 year warranty. I knew it was a little sketchy to get her with Suzuki pulling out. But, (heaven forbid...) I'm hoping to driver her until the warranty runs out, and then maybe turn her into a project car... maybe...

No sign of crazy deals in Canada. I know they're not leaving until 2014 but I thought some dealers would change manufacturers sooner rather than later.

I bought my Kiz knowing a) they were going out of business, and b) it would be the last car I would buy for myself for 10-15 years. I average 7k mi/yr or less on my car, so I plan on it being around for a while.

I got two 2002 Suzuki XL-7s on the driveway in addition to the Kiz, and there is absolutely no reason they'll becoming project cars anytime soon. They look, feel almost like new. Gotta keep pinching myself.

I agree 100% with murcod in what he has written. Although a new comer to the Kizashi I consider it a great vehicle which if you didn't know the price you could think it an expensive vehicle.
Compare the finish (gaps in the door line etc.) and Suzuki has always made a tough car.
I think poor marketing has played a big part the same as in the old days Betamax and VHS.
VHS won the war although BETAMAX was the more better unit. TV camera's etc. still use Beta. and
I think in 2025 the Kizashi will still be around.
