Yeah. I really like Optima. They are good looking cars. They seem to be hot and dealers are not coming down much. A loaded optima SX costs nearly 30K where as I am hopiong to get a loaded 2010 Kizashi SLS for around 20K.

What? A 2011 loaded Optima with the big engine, leather 18's the works is $26,500. A 2011 top of the line Kizashi is gonna run you $28,000 and some change and your still down 75HP.

2011 Optima SX loaded has sticker 30,800+. 2011 Kizashi is 28K+. But I am talking about 2010 Kizashi SLS. I am getting it for close to 20K (Dealer wants me to come in but he said he can do something close to 20K).

2010's are the way to go broseph. The way Northtowne in KC got my 2010 GTS to $21,000 was they bought all the cars and marked them as sold in 2010 and took all the incentives then sold the brand new car to me as used (with 12 miles on it). They basically took $5000 right off the top of the sticker. Kinda sneaky but I didn't mind....my warranty was 3 months short but who cares I upgraded to the 100,00 mile 7 year deal.

Speaking of incentives, make sure you bring those up allot of times Dealers like to keep them to themselves or pad your trade in with them when it should be going directly to you.

Yeah, an Optima SX with all the packages is over $30k. I got my SLS for $24k with the incentives and the fact dealers are trying to get their '10s. I was really was torn between the Sonata, Optima, and Kizashi. The Sonata/Optima had the better hp and mpg, but didn't offer the Kizashi's AWD. I chose the AWD because of how the bad winters have been in my area lately. Here's hoping they up the hp and mpg on the new Kizashi.

Since this is Suzukis "world car" they must have a diesel in there. Something over half over vehicles sold in India are Suzuki Maruti, and diesel is heavily subsidized there.

VW TDI power train would be sweeeet

The only incentive (apart from regular college grad, military and loyalty which 500 each) is 1000 cash. Am I missing any?
Is there any disadvantage if they pad my trade vs giving incentive? I am stll going to pay the same. Correct?

TDI turbo would be really sweet but its not the Jetta TDI.

With the Suzuki it's either $1000 cash back OR 0% APR. I'd pick the 0% APR... I just didn't want them taking that $1000 and putting it towards your trade to make you think your getting a better trade than you are, then miss out on the $1000 AND the 0% APR.

I would love it to be a turbo, but I am afraid it is going to be a hybrid :( I am quite confident about it :(

The second surprise has to be the announcement of the Swift coming to the US.

With the gas mileage being so low in it's class you could be right. The Hyundai Sonata is kicking it's ass with MPG.
