Very nice work on both of the posts. I'll "desticky" the other posts so this will always stay at the top.

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for posting this. That's why I joined this forum to get valuable info from folks much smarter than I. Will print your summary and keep it in my car .... really, really appreciate it!

The maintenance guide for "Oil Change" leads to a thread titled: "Bumper Removal, Headlight Removal, and HID Kit Installation"

Also: The service bulletin for the ole "spider-in-the-fuel-vent" issue needs to be added.

- Transfer gear box (AWD): API 80w-90 GL5 hypoid gear oil; 0.9L (0.95 qts)
- Rear differential (AWD): API 80w-90 GL5 hypoid gear oil; 0.9L (0.95 qts)

I want to use synthetic gear oil for transfer gear box and rear differential.
But I could not find synthetic 80w-90.
Can I use synthetic gear oil 75w-90 instead? Any input?

You should be fine with 75w90, as long as it's GL5. Other members have reported that dealerships used Mobil 1 75w90
