So, i've been looking around for performance mods for the Kizashi.
Obviously I know this car is a piece of rolling turd when it comes to after-market providers, but that just adds to the fun of owning this beloved car
Anyways, enough yap:

I've found these for sale, and I was considering buying them, because I love modifications. My only question really is whether anyone else has installed these, or other coil-overs, and possibly the look of them on your Kizashi.
I've gone back and forth with their customer support, and the company itself seems pretty decent.
They seem relatively average on the price, so i'm guessing that they'd be a good buy? (So far, it should come out to around 1500-1600AUD including the shipping fee)
I have plans for my Kizashi, and so far all i've done is install an aftermarket head unit. I love this car way too much, but I wan't to start with the basic performance mods of coils, exhaust, wheels/rims, maybe intake, and then continue on from that.

ive actually never seen thoes, is that left over stock? or are they still currently manufacturing parts for the kizashi? also does it lower the car at all?

Nah, they make a lot of coilovers for quite a few rare cars actually, it's kinda crazy, but this isn't leftover stock as far as I'm aware. And yeah, it lowers the car, custom ride height they've said.Obama_is_hot6 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 3:03 am ive actually never seen thoes, is that left over stock? or are they still currently manufacturing parts for the kizashi? also does it lower the car at all?
I saw on another forum for a different car they if you pay extra, you can get a lifted height, but I'm not sure if they do that for the kizashi. It was on a 4x4 forum where they talked about it, but the coilovers they wanted still lowered the car, so they said they paid $100USD more to raise the ride height.
Not bad IMO, but haven't tried them yet

super cool! i bought the H&R lowered springs that lower the car like 1.2 inches. I havent installed them yet, they were only ~350 usd.

Is this a generic pic of coil overs? As pictured they will not fit a Kizashi unless there is some adaptive parts.Downcast wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 2:45 am So, i've been looking around for performance mods for the Kizashi.

On the Kizashi rear suspension, the original coil spring does not go around a shock absorber. The top mounting, for the shock may not be made heavy enough to withstand mounting a coil over back there. The originally mounted shock absorber doesn’t have too much room between the shock and the tire. It would have to be a pretty tightly wound spring..The top of the rear replacement unit has three mounting studs and is nowhere near any original mounting. For the front struts, Kizashi uses a bolt on affair at the bottom of the strut where the one pictured is just circular and slides into a hub unit that would have a round hole and a pinch bolt securing it.

The only other coilover set I'm aware of was made by KW of Germany. It was sold largely in Europe. I think only one or two members on here in Europe ever had them. Search the forum and you can find images of them. I also know that the Kizashi featured in this Japanese video linked below has the KW coilovers installed. If you're interested, best of luck finding them. I'm certainly in the belief that if you want to mod your car, don't have a Kizashi: aftermarket parts are virtually nonexistent, especially now.

If extra parts are needed, can they be bought or not too

Been a while, didn't get a reply so:
On their eBay listing, the photo is different for the coilovers, so my question is do these ones work?
