I don't even know what I would do, especially when they only offered like $2500, or whatever it was, to fix it. Sounds just like a german car dealer though. Even though $2500 wouldn't even cover the parts.

This like a job for the insurance company, but it almost sounded like he had liability since there was really no mention of it.

I would hope someone who has an M5 could afford collision coverage.

It probably isn't a matter of afford in their case, but some people don't have collision on anything they own.
