I moved the topic to the appropriate place. This sub-forum is the only appropriate place for non-Suzuki or non-Kizashi related topics.

As for the 2019 Chevy Malibu Premier Redline, it's a nice car. I personally like GM's current styling both inside and out. The RS versions now all have CVTs but the Premier with the larger 2.0 liter has a 9 speed auto.
But you asked for reasons not to get it. Here are some:

- GM doesn't have a good track record of reliability with small turbos. Maybe they are getting better but from Cadillac to Chevy, their turbo engines have been problematic.
- The Malibu isn't offered in AWD which is important to some people. Some competitors like the new Nissan Altima is now offered in AWD.
- The Redline trim is just a cosmetic package so it's all about tastes.
- Resale value won't be too high given it's a domestic sedan. But hey, it'll beat a Kizashi's. LOL.
- The Malibu just isn't a top model in the segment according to nearly all reviewers.

Personally, the Malibu I'd go for is the Hybrid which gets 49 city and 43 hwy MPG. It borrows some of the technology from the Volt though the powertrain is different. One thing I like about the Malibu is that it's not so common yet it looks nice.

Solid choice. Test drove a 2013 6 couple years ago and really liked it. Bigger than the Kizashi though.
