I discovered (and tried) SZ Viewer A1: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... er.android
Great OBD Scan App that is Suzuki specific and also free. You need a proper OBD adapter though, some china clones might not work. And read the description there is a quirk with the sunload sensor ;)

Installed LED bulbs in my head lights and fog lights...tired of changing burnt out halogens! Restored lenses while at it. Car looks good!

Installed LED bulbs in my head lights

What LED headlamp bulbs did you choose?
Are they brighter?

Thank you.

Replaced all rotors and pads with Power Stop Z23 Evolution Sport from Rock Auto. So far, the brakes are quite and smoooth. I suppose I was expecting them to be more "grabby" as they're suppose to be somewhat more performance orientated, not that I wanted track brakes or anything. I suppose all the drilling and slots in the rotors will help mostly with heat which is really what I'm hoping for as my front rotors were beginning to warp. So...same brake feel so far (without the pulsing of the old warped rotors), hopefully less heat related problems down the road.

Looks great.
I installed the Z23 pads with slotted rotors several years ago. I think the best thing about the set up was that they felt like normal OE brakes until that critical point of braking performance. That's when their more aggressive nature was felt. I liked that they had low noise, low dust, and weren't all that different until you needed them to be. I also replaced my rotors due to warping and the replacement slotted rotors held up great.
A Z23 rotor and pad set wasn't offered back when I bought my kit so my rotors were from PowerStop that I got separately. I think I'll try this Z23 kit next time my brake components need replacement.

I've got pretty much the same setup in a box in the shed, waiting for the sun to get warm before I take my old bones out there to put them on.

It snowed some more in Kansas, so Kitsune and I went out to pickup some Mexican takeout food for the Wifey for Valentine's Day.

As a bonus, I drifted Kitsune passed 65K miles as we pulled into the restaurant parking lot.

DIY radiator flush. Nothing terribly exciting but I like working on my car and its another good opportunity to keep an eye on the condition of things. Got Asian Blue coolant online from Autozone, cheaper than anywhere else I could find even with shipping. Most local shops only carry the widely universal types. Anyone local to me who carries the specific Asian Blue usually charge a premium for it, if they carry it at all. Changed the thermostat while I was at it and pressure tested the cap (had failure of previous one that cause some weird things). I am surprised by the recommended coolant change interval suggested in the maintenance schedule. 90k for the first and every 45k thereafter. I don't think I've bothered to follow a schedule so much, but I've never had a car I've enjoyed so much!

Replaced my low beam HID bulbs last weekend. 7+ years on the original components and the bulbs weren't even malfunctioning. I just figured after 7 years, it was time to retire them and replace with newer and brighter bulbs. I went with 4300K bulbs with a Philips capsule this time. I replaced only the bulbs so the HID system is running on the original ballasts, capacitors (add-on), and harness.

As for the LED kit in the DRL/High beams, I took the bulbs out and inspected them because the passenger side was failing consistently for over a month by working at partial power. Checked all components and connections with a disconnect and reconnect. Upon testing, they worked perfectly fine again. Maybe a connection or ground was loose. I also spent time indexing the bulbs but realized the emitters firing directly left and right (default position) appeared to provide the best output pattern. Maybe they were optimized a tiny bit by indexing but I didn't have the best setting to test beam pattern and doing so in the Kizashi's sealed headlight with these bulbs is a very hard process. I hope newer LED bulb designs make indexing easier as it's critical for getting the proper and safe output pattern on the road.

I'll post more with photos about the new bulbs in the dedicated thread but must say 7+ years on the same bulbs is quite impressive for a car plagued with halogen bulb issues and a nightmare replacement process.
