I notice a dealer is selling zero milles suzuki's 7000 off MSRP when I asked salesman , he said these are fleet car, and considered used, and instead of 100000 miles warenty it has only 3 year or 36000. you can see them on cars.com. do you think it worth buying or get new one and neg the price?

If they're fleet vehicles, they're not zero miles.

7000 on MSRP is pretty damn steep for a used car.

fleet car = rental car = driven like it was stolen and unmaintained. PAASSSSSSS

Another possibility is that they are indeed zero miles, but simply were classified as fleet vehicles for tax, contract, or other reasons. I'd look into that before I would conclude that this is not a bad deal.

For example, the dealership could have purchased the vehicles for their own "fleet" to record some incentive from Suzuki -- or, actually, to buttress the price and not have to pay the incentive to the customer. Then its a fleet vehicle and doesn't respond to additional incentives being provided by Suzuki America.

Also, the 100,000 mile warranty is transferable unless otherwise negotiated, so the fact that it is a fleet vehicle should make no difference whatsoever on the warranty.

even though they are being advertise as used, however it has only 5-10 milles, accroding to dealer they are not covered under suzuki warenty, when I ask he said these are fleet car, I am asuming dealer bought them in whole sale price, so they negotiiate warenty with suzuki so they can buy it as less price. not having 100K warrenty is the only deal breaker for me.

Thx

I am sure with hefty discounts on the car...you could add an aftermarket warranty.

I wouldn't trust this dealer and the games they're trying to play. You should be able to get $7000+ off a new Kiz with the full warranty.

yeah man.....sounds seriously shady to me......more dealer smoke and mirrors. If they're new, they're new and they come w/ 100k mile warranty from Suzuki. If they're used they're used and the warranty is transferable by Suzuki. If they're fleet w/ 36k mile warranty, they're used and worthless unless you can pick one up for 10 grand which is all you'd get for it if you were to turn around and trade it.

Saying these vehicles have any kind of warranty at this point is one thing....actually getting a claim paid under that warranty w/o any hassles is an entirely different thing.

shady....
