I think the black wheels with chromed accoutrements looks marvy.

Thumbs up!

Have decided to plasti dipped the remaining 2 wheels (leaving the chrome centre caps & nuts). Took the car to the car wash on the weekend and whilst I didn't actually have the high pressure hose very close to the wheels, I did point it about a metre away, and the coating withstood the pressure without any problem. :P

Wow they look awesome! And I must say I like the chrome nuts and cap. I'm thinking about doing it too, but mine's red and I do have the factory chrome accents, so I'm not sure how well it will look.

I've seen red cars with black alloys and I must say I don't mind the look. Don't forget, the beauty with plasti dipping is that if you don't like the look, you can always strip it off! As for mine, I must say I've grown used to them, and I've had a few good comments from work colleagues , so I'm keeping them on for a while! Cheers!

I strongly dislike black rims, I do not understand the attraction.

For what it's worth, I prefer the chrome bolts over all black for contrast.

Quite nice! I'm not normally a fan of black wheels unless there's something else there, but your setup has that element, whatever it is.
