I have one chip in my windshield from a little rock that was kicked up or flew off a dump truck on the freeway. It made a little chip in the glass on the lower bottom passenger side. I bought a repair kit so I'll try it out and post photos. I've used kits in the past with good results, however they don't do much about cracks.

I have a friend with a auto-detail retail/wholesale business, and he bought a higher-end kit.
I trained myself with it, and have repaired numerous windshields using it.
But my K-glass is beyond repair......

I think my 2010 Kizashi is about to get seriously lapped 127,000 to 27,000!

Wow, only 27k on a 2010? That's only 7k/year average or just over 500 a month. How do you keep it so low?

Today, 6/20, at this moment, my 3-and-a-half year old 2011 AWD S has exactly 127,000 miles on it (as I parked it from my 'lunch drive').

I thought that was kind of cool.

Filled up before said 'drive'; last tank 28.2 MPG.

I've been spending considerable time driving with the TSC/VSA turned off. On dirt roads (oh, the glorious "dirt" roads, all freshly scraped / gravelled / planed; some packed so hard it's like cement, some so gravelly it is literally like driving on marbles, some somewhere between these extremes) I get more dig out of corners, and can apply power while still sliding.
I like sliding while applying more power

I also enjoy watching that windshield crack continue growing.......

I was stopped at a red light and a Prius ran into the back of me.
Nothing, not even a blemish.
Left the sap standing there with their smashed Prius. Putz.
